On April 23th 2021, General contractor Handong E&C and the Owner Dong Yang E&P Corporation have successfully celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of “Dongyang E&P HCM Factory” project in Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Zone, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.
Located at the center of major cities of the southern key economic development zones, "Dongyang E&P HCM Factory project" is one of the typical projects of the owner in the coronavirus pandemic period. Handong E&C plays the role of General Contractor of construction and project completion with total project value of 236 billion VND, expected to be completed in the end of October 2021. This construction is built with total constructing area of 22,946m2, including factory, operating room, warehouse, solid waste storage, parking lot, guard house, power station, canopy.
At the ceremony, Mr. Choi KyungWan - representative of the owner, said: “I am very pleased to start the construction of Dongyang E&P’s Ho Chi Minh Factory 2 in Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Complex. As you all know, humanity is suffering from unprecedented circumstances, and the world is stepping through a misty future to overcome this crisis. Despite this situation, Vietnam is living almost normally except for overseas exchanges due to the strong government response. As of last year, the economic growth rate of Korea, which ranked first among OECD countries in terms of growth rate, was minus 1.1%, while Vietnam was positive in the world. It is named in one of the few countries that has grown up. As such, I think that the construction of Dongyang E&P’s Factory 2 in the Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Complex, located in Vietnam, a country of potential, especially in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City, which is called the economic capital, was an excellent investment decision in terms of timing, location, and scale.”
